From the Italian peninsula to the docks of Bordeaux, the Intermediate Wine Course is a breathtaking exploration into the world of wine. In the Certificate of Global Wine Studies (Intermediate) Course, you are immersed in the world of wine. You learn about wine styles, wine regions and winemaking directly from wine industry professionals. While many wine education programs offer excellent reading materials on the history of wine, The Wine School and the American Wine Foundation offer something more. We offer a dynamic and academic look into the future of the wine. Most importantly, the program is based on the real-world experiences of our senior staff. Since our experience extends to all corners of the wine world, we offer a program without rival. Upon completion of the program, the student will have a working knowledge of the types and styles of wine available throughout the world. The Intermediate Wine Course can be taken in tandem with the Wine Foundation Course  for a complete wine experience.
